Tennessee Highland Games

I know this is last minute notice, but the Tennessee Highland Games will be held in Kittrell, TN. http://www.hotsc.bravehost.com/ I will be hosting the Clan Skene booth at #22. I’d love to meet any members that happened to be there that day.

Re: Tennessee Highland Games

Hmm, they've moved to a new location, eh? I thought the Ren Faire location was a great venue for the event. Sheesh, it's been three years since I was there. Hey Liz, are you going to Murf this year?

Re: Tennessee Highland Games

Hi Mike, sorry for the delay, but I was in Murfeesboro for the dog shows over the weekend.

I hope to go to the Games, but it depends on whether my bum knee co-operates. Am due to have it replaced the end of this month, so you know it has gotten really bad or I would never consider surgery.

Dirk, any idea exactly where Kittrell happens to be in relation to Nashville or M'boro? And if the ground is fairly level?

Hope to see you there.

Kittrell is about 10 miles east of Murfreesboro on Hwy 70S. Not sure about how level the venue is.

Dirk?

In a big field right beside the fire station. There is only one fire station.

Re: Tennessee Highland Games

Thank you Dirk and Starbkjrus.

It doesn't sound like I should have any real trouble finding it. So Dirk, if an old lady with a cane, and probably a bit of Douglas tartan pinned to her shoulder, shows up at your tent, you'll know it is me.

Have a wonderful time.

Re: Tennessee Highland Games

If you give Liz a place to sit and rest her knee, you'll be able to ask her questions about Scottish history. And be sure to take notes, because she knows her fair share!
