Rob Roy Commemoration

Next event for Na Fir Dileas will be the annual service at the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor in Balquhidder on the 28th December followed by buffet and entertainment at the Kings House Hotel, Balquhidder.

I hope you will be able to make that one too. Although I will be sorely envious if you do.

Such a beautiful place to be. It was so easy to ignore the paved road with the houses alongside it and simply lose all sense of the 21st century as we walked down that road. We had become separated from the others, so it was so quiet and peaceful. A day to remember.

As long as the weather is a bit kinder this year. Last year it was torrential rain from start to finish, and when we got back to the Kings House, there was plaids and shirts hanging and dripping everywhere.
