You may find this article interesting. Nationalists have been saying for some time that Scotland would be a viable Independent Nation. The current figures I would suggest support such a claim. Isn't it interesting how the 'volatile and diminishing supply of oil' card always gets played? I should think Westminster is wringing its collective hands, as it anguishes this 'terrible' supply problem. (He says with tongue planted firmly in cheek!)

Well surprisingly enough it has just been on the Scottish News. John Swinney obviously calling for Scottish Independence (Don't mention the EU It would appear that it is okay for the UK to run with a large deficit but for Scotland to run with a deficit is just plain wrong !! Hopefully this Gers report will influence those in Scotland who still doubt that we can and should be an Independent Nation. M... |
