I'm attempting a return to work today. Although I'm unsure of how long I will be able to last, as I still feel as if I've been run over by a truck.

The fact it is 19° / -7° with a windchill of 14° / -10° isn't necessarily making me feel any better.
Oh, but let me tell you that I love you and I think about you all the time. Caledonia, you're calling me and now I'm going home.

awwwwww our electric is off, and I am toasty. Lights are on, furnace is running. The whole house generator is working. What a great investment. Did I mention the ground is WHITE?

Mike, hope you get to feeling better real soon.

We were predicted to get some flurries today, but the sun has been shining all day. I do wish the temperature would at least go up above freezing, however.

Would anyone like to hear about how we took the top down and went to the beach to see the Monarch butterflies on Sunday? It was well over 80 degrees. The sun was shining, the butterflies filled the air. We went to a friend's son's first birthday party afterwards. The only problem was there just wasn't enough shade in the backyard...

It was 27 degrees F here in Hotlanta this morning. I noticed that NW Indiana had over 12 inches of unexpected snow.

Whats going on up there?

We've not had anything other than flurries. We're just far enough south we never see the effect of the lake effect snows.

My hometown had half a foot of snow. Ugh! That's just not right this early in the season!! They are predicting a rougher than normal winter here in Indy. I am not looking forward to that!!

It's cold here, but the sun is still shining and we didn't see that first flurry.

20° / -7° with a windchill figure of 10° / -12°. Brrrrr...

As I write this it's 35 degrees F here in Hotlanta ,snow flurries were reported in the higher elevations of the North Georgia mountains.

It started snowing here about 2pm but didn't amount to much. Apparently we may be due a wee bit of the white stuff overnight that may stay around for a couple of hours.

arrgh. Sunshine, what is that? Minus 5c here this morning but no snow. Temp rose slightly in the afternoon but it's gone down below freezing again this evening so I guess it will be a brrrrrr of a night outside.
Thankfully my heating is pretty good.

Mairead, it's 14° / -10° here this morning. Although we're meant to get up to 45° / 7°, later in the day. Tomorrow, it's mid-30's with rain.
