Not that I know what good it would do James of the Glen, since he will be just as dead, but it would be nice to see him vindicated. His conviction of the murder of the Red Fox could not even be termed by circumstantial evidence, it was pure spite.

Thanks for the tip on the book, I'll add it to my reading list. I am reading The Islesman by Nigel Trantor now and have the book on John Brown waiting for me.

Unfortunately, this would not have been an isolated incident...Times were hard and the politics, brutal...... Blood fueds run deep and it is hard to use your head when the red mist is rising.
May James's spirit find the rest his corpse was denied.
