We're supposed to get up to freezing today. Woo-hoo! And it's forecast to be 36° / 2° over the next couple days with a high of 38° / 3° on Saturday. :kiltdance:
Oh, but let me tell you that I love you and I think about you all the time. Caledonia, you're calling me and now I'm going home.

It has been snowing here today but hasn't amounted too much. Temp sitting about +4 and forecast to rise to a balmy +6. Contractors are working hard outside (for lots of money) to clear the paths and roadways 4 weeks after it started to snow. If they leave it another 48 hours Mother Nature will do the job for them and the council won't have to waste my community charge by employing contractors in a pointless exercise

:soapbox:

Snow snow and more snow and this lot wasn't forecast. The heavy snow on Saturday is but I bet that doesn't appear. Have I mentioned that I hate the snow.

Dog at the Vets. About to ring and pick him up.

Barely 5:30 AM and it's 30° / -1° here. We're meant to get up to 38° / 3° today, which is the good news. The bad news? Tonight we're apparently going to get freezing rain through noon tomorrow.

Maitland, I just hate Winter.

The weather forecast was all wrong for us. It's 5:30 AM and the temps are at 37° / 3°. I cannot believe how much snow melted overnight. I imagine we'll end up paying heavily for this warm-up, but it's meant to continue through the early part of next week.

We have had a weather warning overnight for heavy rain, Now that the heavy rain has set in the snow has about melted, this has obviously brought some problems with flooding. There has been a landslide on the M74 Motorway with other raods being closed. Temperatures are around the +7 and are set to stay around this for the near future.

Off in a moment to get a Jag for Alexander. Swine Flu for everybody in Scotland sometime soon but we are starting with the young ones first.

Isn't it a bit late on the H1N1 jags? All regions in the U.S. are reporting reduced numbers of people stricken with influenza-type symptoms. As a matter of fact, zero of the fifty states are reporting widespread influenza activity. Hospitalizations are also dropping as are the numbers of deaths from influenza-like symptoms.

The pharmacies here in this area are now starting to run price wars on H1N1 vaccinations. Sixty days ago, you couldn't get the jag and now they are having clearance sales? Methinks getting the shot at this late date achieves nothing more than padding the pharmaceutical companies' pockets.

Oh, wait a second. That's been my position on the H1N1 vaccine since the get-go. :winkn:

Its about the same here Mike. The vaccine is sitting in warehouses practically useless (I am led to believe) There is talk about sending it to third worlds countries because we have so much stockpiled and no need for it. To be fair to the politicians, if they didn't have enough to go around and it got bad they would be in trouble but now they are in trouble for buying all the stuff and having nothing to do with it. Who would be a politician at times !!

Mrs M wasn't sure whether the Wee Man should have it but I took the decision to take him down (This house isn't a democracy as she may think !!) and get the Jag. If he were to get ill with swine flu and I hadn't taken the opportunity to have him vaccinated then I would have felt pretty bad.

Anyway the Wee Man went into the Doctor sat down had his Jag and said "Thank You Doctor" stood up and walked out, not a peep from him, not a tear, nothing. Its as if nothing happened. I asked him later if it hurt and he said he just felt it a wee bit.

Dry day today. A wee bit of snow still on the grass. Off to get the rest of the rubbish out of the garage and up to the coup. Bins haven't been collected here for weeks due to the bad weather (how do other countries survive???) so the cardboard and paper and plastics have to be taken up by myself. I may bill the council for my diesel costs !!

Maitland, be thankful the wee man is so good about getting a jag. I wish I could be so calm about it, believe me!

At one point, they had to recall some of the H1N1 children's vaccine as it was proven to be so weak it was medically useless. Yet the parents of the children that had rushed to judgement and had their children vaccinated with this 'useless' vaccine are reporting their children are no worse off than those children who got the 'full-strength' vaccinations.

The pharmaceutical companies managed to drum up this 'deadly pandemic' that was going to kill millions and the U.S. government stockpiled billions of dollars in vaccine to prevent it. But now, the people are seeing the H1N1 pandemic was a media-driven medical hoax. So now what is the government going to do? I suspect we'll start seeing some phony, trumped-up numbers to suggest the pandemic is still out there and waiting to kill us all. And if that doesn't happen, the government will attempt to mandate vaccinations. Since the people have seen through the H1N1 hoax, both strategies are going to die before they ever see the light of day.

And here is where it gets scary for Americans. The Environmental Protection Agency regulates the pollutant level of treated sewage water before it is dumped back into our rivers and streams. But what most people do not know is the EPA does not regulate what is known as DNA pollution. There are no laws to govern the flushing of pharmaceuticals down the drain. And guess what? The Food and Drug Administration doesn't regulate drug disposal either. Can you see where this is leading? The American waterways are going to end up being polluted with billions of dollars worth of H1N1 DNA/RNA and the pharmaceutical companies are building in their next pandemic scare.

Sure, there is a chance that EPA-mandated treatment might remove some of the H1N1 DAN/RNA from the water. But in this country, the sewage biosolids that remain after treatment are sold to companies who produce fertilizer. The sludge is often referred to as 'black gold'. And people wonder why I am earnestly seeking out a Community Supported Agriculture farm in this area, that use no commercial fertilizers???

I took a bit of time and did some research on the H1N1 vaccine. I posted the information in MY BLOG on the Patriot Alert site. Give it a read and you will be stunned at how the pharmaceutical companies, the Center for Disease Control and the mainstream media are selling everyone a bill of goods.
