The pharmacies here in this area are now starting to run price wars on H1N1 vaccinations. Sixty days ago, you couldn't get the jag and now they are having clearance sales?
Oh, wait a second. That's been my position on the H1N1 vaccine since the get-go.

Its about the same here Mike. The vaccine is sitting in warehouses practically useless (I am led to believe) There is talk about sending it to third worlds countries because we have so much stockpiled and no need for it. To be fair to the politicians, if they didn't have enough to go around and it got bad they would be in trouble but now they are in trouble for buying all the stuff and having nothing to do with it. Who would be a politician at times !!
Mrs M wasn't sure whether the Wee Man should have it but I took the decision to take him down (This house isn't a democracy as she may think !!) and get the Jag. If he were to get ill with swine flu and I hadn't taken the opportunity to have him vaccinated then I would have felt pretty bad.
Anyway the Wee Man went into the Doctor sat down had his Jag and said "Thank You Doctor" stood up and walked out, not a peep from him, not a tear, nothing. Its as if nothing happened. I asked him later if it hurt and he said he just felt it a wee bit.
Dry day today. A wee bit of snow still on the grass. Off to get the rest of the rubbish out of the garage and up to the coup. Bins haven't been collected here for weeks due to the bad weather (how do other countries survive???) so the cardboard and paper and plastics have to be taken up by myself. I may bill the council for my diesel costs !!

At one point, they had to recall some of the H1N1 children's vaccine as it was proven to be so weak it was medically useless. Yet the parents of the children that had rushed to judgement and had their children vaccinated with this 'useless' vaccine are reporting their children are no worse off than those children who got the 'full-strength' vaccinations.
The pharmaceutical companies managed to drum up this 'deadly pandemic' that was going to kill millions and the U.S. government stockpiled billions of dollars in vaccine to prevent it. But now, the people are seeing the H1N1 pandemic was a media-driven medical hoax. So now what is the government going to do? I suspect we'll start seeing some phony, trumped-up numbers to suggest the pandemic is still out there and waiting to kill us all. And if that doesn't happen, the government will attempt to mandate vaccinations. Since the people have seen through the H1N1 hoax, both strategies are going to die before they ever see the light of day.
And here is where it gets scary for Americans. The Environmental Protection Agency regulates the pollutant level of treated sewage water before it is dumped back into our rivers and streams. But what most people do not know is the EPA does not regulate what is known as DNA pollution. There are no laws to govern the flushing of pharmaceuticals down the drain. And guess what? The Food and Drug Administration doesn't regulate drug disposal either. Can you see where this is leading? The American waterways are going to end up being polluted with billions of dollars worth of H1N1 DNA/RNA and the pharmaceutical companies are building in their next pandemic scare.
Sure, there is a chance that EPA-mandated treatment might remove some of the H1N1 DAN/RNA from the water. But in this country, the sewage biosolids that remain after treatment are sold to companies who produce fertilizer. The sludge is often referred to as 'black gold'. And people wonder why I am earnestly seeking out a Community Supported Agriculture farm in this area, that use no commercial fertilizers???
I took a bit of time and did some research on the H1N1 vaccine. I posted the information in MY BLOG on the Patriot Alert site. Give it a read and you will be stunned at how the pharmaceutical companies, the Center for Disease Control and the mainstream media are selling everyone a bill of goods.

It started snowing about 6pm. It's not going to lie I said to myself, it's March, it wouldn't dare. Well here we are three hours later and there is a blizzard raging outside and yes the ruddy stuff is lying and (depending on who you listen to) we are expecting 12 inches or more in the next 36 hours. The bad thing is that it is the same type of snow that we had the last time, very very wet and sticky. All we need is the power lines to come down again but hopefully it won't reach the 30 odd inches we had the last time.
Is it spring yet (apparantly so)

It certainly looks like it is on for the day but what do I know. Kids are all still at school and Mrs M got to work okay but then there is nothing in Stirling as usual, we seem to have our own mini climate here.
The snow won't last long as the temperatures shouldn't dip below freezing at this time of the year so once the snow stops it should disappear quite quickly, we can only hope.

The weather forecast is dire on this end, as well. Today's forecast is for sunny skies with temperatures as high as 61° /16°. Tomorrow, it is meant to be 74° / 23° and that is as cool as it is going to be through Saturday. I do hope not to sunburn in this terrible weather.
All kidding aside, you say Stirling has nothing? Do you suppose the Ochils define the weather patterns then? We see crazy snow patterns in this areas too. If you travel about 12 miles north of Lafayette on I-65, you enter into a winter wonderland, when we have hardly any snow here in town. HRH lives 4 miles west of West Lafayette and it can get much worse out there than here in town, as well.
Thankfully, we're not worrying about snow in our immediate future.

I am quite sure the hills have an influence on the weather here. We are only about 400 feet above sea level but that certainly seems to make a difference. Mrs M tells me that that in Stirling (15 miles away) that it is chucking it down, whereas here it is still snowing. The saving grace is the fact that it is about +4 at the moment and it is melting as it falls but it is forecast heavy snow overnight and they are now saying that it may drop below freezing.
The trees are now covered in heavy wet snow and it is still blowing a gale. There is already a tree down over one of the roads in the village and I am sure it will not be the last. If it freezes this snow will just end up rock solid and the power lines will struggle to stay upright.
As for me, I hope to keep my underpants in my trousers and not outside, I never found it that fashionable and anyway I have the wee man to get to nursery in half an hour and the dog walked.
