We've taken on a new look. (Click on the thumbnail to see a larger image.)

If you've not already noticed, press the CTRL key and the F5 key together.

:hide: Before you start sending me nasty e-mails, if you don't care for it, it is easily changed. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select another style in the skin selector. There, see how easy that was?

The new skin is one I've been contemplating for quite some time. I've been looking for a forum skin that makes the site look completely different and this one certainly qualifies. The young man that developed the skin has made wholesale changes and I've a bit of time in modifying it even further. Actually it was more than just a bit of time. I've been elbow-deep in more CSS templates than I ever wanted to see in my life. But the blue sky and puffy white cloud background has been replaced with a fading Saltire, the menu buttons have been moved down under the new logo and a midnight-blue bar that ran across the top of the page has been removed.

I like the new look of the forum index page, but I also like the advantages the skin gives us with respect to search engine optimization, by removing all the last post information from the page.

I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on the skin, but it is here to stay. I'll be adding at least one other skin and possibly two, to offer you more options. The skin designer has some revolutionary ideas, but there are some familiar lay-outs as well.

Came as a bit of a shock when I looked in on the site Webbie but have to admit I think it is a wonderful look, different, but wonderful.
