Well here we are October 2nd 2007 and Scotland's summer has eventually arrived.

Today has been absolutely glorious so we decided to take a wee drive down to Loch Katrine. I managed to take about 40 odd photographs and once I get them downloaded I will get them onto Clann Alba.

Mike, you will obviously recognise a few (if not all) of these photographs and one particular area where we sat for coffee. I will get them over to you at some point tomorrow evening as I have a day fishing ahead of me during the day.

That was a fine day for me. Beautiful scenery, a nice walk and a splendid place for a coffee break. What more could I have asked?

And then Inchmahome Priory on the same day? We had a nice blether during our coffee break there, as well. The rain came along at a perfect moment.

And to think I was tickled at just being able to see Callander again that day.
Oh, but let me tell you that I love you and I think about you all the time. Caledonia, you're calling me and now I'm going home.

Well would you believe it is raining so I have decided to postpone the fishing until the weekend.

Obviously I won't send over all the photographs, just the best of the bunch. Although you will be familiar with the area I am sure there are some that will have an interest.

The Wee Man is still in bed, he had a busy day yesterday and has now been asleep 13 hours but once he is up and fed and watered I will get the photographs over to you.

Sorry to hear about the lost fishing trip.

It has been pouring rain here, f-i-n-a-l-l-y. They are saying it will end by mid-morning, but we've picked up .6" since midnight. It will slow down the harvest, but the moisture will certainly pick up test weight on the soybeans, so the farmers likely won't be too upset.

I've got some images up. Loch Katrine is every bit as beautiful as I remembered.
