Death of John Law (SNP)
15 February 2010 - 06:56 AM
I have just read with great sadness that our local SNP Councillor John Law has died.

I knew John since 2002 and always had a great respect for him. I haven't spoke to him in a while since I stood back from attending Community Council meetings but know that he will be a great loss not only to his family and the SNP but to local politics. He was a committed Nationalist and I am sure will be sadly missed.

On goes the Haggis
25 January 2010 - 12:43 PM
Well the Haggis has just just made its way to the pot. The Tatties and the Neep is cut and in the other pot. The Burns books (Thank you Mairead) sit centre stage on the table.
It is nice to know that those in America are now able to have Haggis on the 25th January.
To all at Clann Alba, a wee toast to Robert Burns, The Scottish Bard.

David R Ross

For those that were unaware. David R Ross the Author has died at the age of 51. David was the gentleman who was involved in the Walk for Wallace. My sympathy goes out to his family and friends.
